At Kyp, we are actively looking for ways to reduce our impact on our environment. These are some of the ways we are addressing our responsiblities:
- All our paper is from managed forests and sustainable sources - fully recyclable and acid-free.
- We use vegetable-based inks and water-based coatings (containing no environmentally-damaging chemicals) wherever possible.
- We are RoHS and WEEE compliant, supporting initiatives that reduce the impact of electrical and electronic waste on the environment.
- We have the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) chain of custody certification and can print using 100% FSC paper. Products carrying the FSC label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from the forests that are managed to meet social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.
- We engineer our products to use material as efficiently as possible and to be easily recyclable.
- We only use production partners who are signed up to our ethical manufacturing code of conduct and work to promote the adoption of the ISO14001 environmental accreditation.
