AAA / Travelex

American Automobile Association (AAA) is the leading US emergency road and travel service company. Travelex, the foreign exchange expert, is one of AAA’s partners and provides its travel money services. AAA needed to increase awareness and use of its travel money products amongst its members, in particular the Visa TravelMoney card.

The Travelex Travel Guide iKyp was created to reward members purchasing travel money from AAA. It incorporated information on travel money services into a highly retainable reference tool for foreign travelers. The guide was promoted in Horizons, the AAA Southern New England member magazine which goes out to 1.2 million households. To support the initiative even further, AAA produced inserts in its renewal mailings to encourage members to call or visit the branches to pick up their guide. The response was extremely favourable with 100% of respondents saying they would keep it until their next trip abroad.
