Tribeca Film Festival
Founded in 2001 following the attacks on the World Trade Centre, New York’s Tribeca Film Festival aims to spur the economic and cultural revitalisation of Lower Manhattan through an annual celebration of film, music and culture.
After an iKyp Festival Guide proved exceptionally popular in the past, the Tribeca team was keen to work with Kyp again to help attendees find their way around the Festival and promote the use of public transport. An iKyp mini, doubling up as a Metrocard holder was distributed through official festival venues and in VIP guest bags. Of the recipients polled, 98% said they found the guide useful and 95% planned to keep it after the end of the festival.
Consumer feedback:
“Very user friendly. Coming from way out of town this was the easiest map and a neat place for my Metrocard.”
“I loved it. It's just what I needed. It also helps keep track of all the events and it has a map too!”
“I love those little wheels that give you directions on how to get to the theaters! It was really a genius move.”
